The Office of Prestigious External Scholarships mentors all University students who apply for national, merit-based scholarships and fellowships and regularly advises students who compete for other awards and scholarships.

The Orators Lecture Series, housed in the Shackouls Honors College, invites speakers, representing various campus disciplines, to engage and enrich the campus and local communities.
