Study Abroad
Honors Study Abroad Program in Italy
As part of an ongoing alliance with the University of Catania, the Shackouls Honors College coordinates a study abroad trip for Honors students every summer. Our visit allows us to experience the history and culture of the city of Catania, the region of Sicily, as well as selected cities in Italy.
Cooperative Center for Study Abroad (CCSA)
CCSA is a higher education consortium of 22 colleges and universities with member schools from Alabama, Idaho, Kentucky, Mississippi, Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. SHC students can receive Honors undergraduate credit for successfully completing the CCSA program. The classes are taught by faculty from consortium-member schools. If you are interested in participating in the CCSA, please contact the Honors College for more information. You can also visit the CCSA web site, http://www.ccsa.cc.
